A seasoned Hollywood director with some great action movies on her CV – "Point Break" – and thrillers – "Strange Days" – but she also shown a razor-sharp topical edge in films such as "The Hurt Locker" and "Zero Dark Thirty" which might lend Bond some gravitas. And again, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have the Bond girl behind the camera.
