#3 PATTY JENKINS

007 is going to have a job surviving the era of #MeToo and #TimesUp. Even though he’s no longer ‘curing’ Lesbians ("Goldfinger"), he’s still a bit rapey ("Spectre"), so the time is ripe for a woman to take charge. Patty Jenkins has proven her metal not only with "Wonder Woman"’s action, but also it’s brilliantly played wit. It’s a lightness of touch that could elevate the increasingly dour Daniel Craig. Maybe Moneypenny could also be persuaded to reverse her fairly boring decision to quit the field. She could give over stapling and secretarying and do some serious asskicking instead.
