Social media has become an integral part of everybody’s life, giving fans better updates about their favourite celebrities’ lives. Unlike many of his colleagues, Saif Ali Khan is not on any social media platform. So, fans were overjoyed when reports started doing the rounds that Saif would finally join Instagram. Yesterday, his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan shared an Instagram story, saying “Finally”, with a link to Saif’s official Instagram account. Fans started sending requests to the account, as it was private.
The account also had a Google document link, where there were details about a contest that will allow fans to meet and greet Saif. However, the actor’s spokesperson rubbished the reports and said that Ibrahim’s account was hacked, and Saif’s account was fake. Earlier, it was stated that in order to fulfil the wish of scores of fans and followers, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be making his much-awaited debut on Instagram later this month.
His son Ibrahim Ali Khan announced the same on his Instagram story, writing, “Finally! @Saifpataudi” However, it was later stated that the account was hacked. “The reports floating are completely untrue. Saif Ali Khan is not on Instagram or on any other social media platform for that matter. We are in the process of investigating the matter”, clarified Saif Ali Khan’s spokesperson in regards to this issue. On the work front, the Nawab has been enticing fans with his web television series, Sacred Games in which he plays the role of a Mumbai cop, Sartaj Singh. The series is based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 thriller novel by the same name and also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
