Shah Rukh Khan wraps up shooting for Zero

The Indian romantic-drama, directed by Aanand L. Rai, is slated to hit the screens on December 21

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero has been making the right noise ever since its announcement. The actor has now wrapped up the shoot of the upcoming thriller. Taking to his Twitter handle, Khan shared a selfie with a caption that read,” A film never finishes…but so many beautiful things come to an end around it. Thanks everyone for a very fruitful & hectic shoot. #ZeroTheFilm.” For the past month or so, the Raees star had been shooting for his upcoming drama in the United States. Zero is a story that celebrates life, the first look of the film featured Shah Rukh Khan as the adorable vertically challenged man piquing the interests of the audience to witness the unusual tale. Helmed by Aanand L. Rai, Zero is going to mark the onscreen reunion of the actor trio – Shah Rukh, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif – after 2012’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

The romantic-drama is slated to hit the screens on December 21. Zero is an upcoming 2018 Indian romantic drama film written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film is jointly produced by Rai and Red Chillies Entertainment’s Gauri Khan. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The plot follows Khan as a man of short stature, who falls in love with a superstar played by Kaif. Sharma portrays the character of a girl with intellectual disability. The film was conceived by Rai in 2012, announced in 2016, and set to be released on 21 December 2018. It marks the second collaboration of the lead trio, the fourth collaboration between Khan and Sharma and the second collaboration between Khan and Kaif. This marks the last film appearance of Sridevi, who died on February 24, 2018, shortly after completing the film.
