Bollywood News: Ranveer Singh kick-started the shooting of Simmba

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and debutant Sara Ali Khan kick-started the shooting of their upcoming flick, Simmba on Wednesday in Hyderabad. Ranveer Singh, who was last seen essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat, is zealous to pair up with debutante Sara Ali Khan in Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar’s Simmba. Not only will it be refreshing to see Ranveer and Sara together, but it will also be interesting to see what the duo Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar, who are pairing up for the first time, have in store for the audience.The team kickstarts shooting for the film today in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Ace filmmaker Karan Johar, who is producing the film under his production banner, Dharma Productions, took to Twitter to confirm the news. “ROHIT SHETTY is back!!!! @RanveerOfficial as #SIMMBA with #SaraAliKhan produced by @RSPicturez @DharmaMovies @RelianceEnt @apoorvamehta18 releasing 28th DEC 2018”. Sara, apart from Simmba, will also be seen in ‘Kedarnath‘ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is all set to hit theatres on December 28.
