A recent video by Cracked toyed with the idea that The Big Bang Theory is secretly about the end of the world and that Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Howard are the modern equivalents of Einstein and Tesla. However, seeing as they live in the 21st century and that they are obsessed with girls and TV, they don’t focus on the bigger picture. Cracked reflects on the fact that the show’s name is due to the fact that the big bang is expanding to the point that one day there will be a reboot and everyone will die.
