Chaman Kohli is a 29-year-old, Hindi Lecturer at Delhi University. In the quest for a beautiful bride, naive Chaman has faced several rejections as a prospective groom for his baldness. Chaman’s otherwise monotonous life turns upside down when the family astrologer gives him a deadline of a year to find himself a wife or remain celibate forever. In the hunt of a beautiful bride, he still does not lose hope and gives Tinder a shot and lands on a blind date with Apsara. Chaman and Apsara are taken aback when they come face to face because the picture on Tinder is unlike them. They reject each other politely. But Chaman’s family gets involved and Showered by immense love and acceptance, Apsara falls in love with Chaman for the right reasons. The families meet to fix their wedding. On the day of the engagement Chaman secretly sends Apsara a text and calls off the wedding. Chaman’s family and friends are furious at his decision and they disapprove of his cowardly act. Alienated, he starts to introspect and looks deeper into himself while on the road to self-discovery and acceptance of inner beauty in others.
