Summary
Acclaimed filmmaker Sam Mendes, the Academy Award®-winning director behind "American Beauty" and "Skyfall," focuses his lens on the Great War in "1917," which follows two young British soldiers, Lance Corporal Schofield (George MacKay) and Lance Corporal Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman), on a dangerous mission in enemy territory at the height of the conflict.
