Summary
In order to celebrate her appointment as Minister of Health in the Shadow Cabinet, the ambitious politician Janet invites close friends and co-workers to her London city center. When her husband Bill burst out with an explosive confession, the party takes a surprising turn. Suddenly, the other guests also reveal long-held secrets, which call into questioning relationships, friendships, political beliefs, and life-plans. Within a short space of time, the cultivated atmosphere tumbles into an emotional chaos of mutual accusations.
