La 72esima edizione degli Oscar della TV ha visto trionfare Regina King e la sitcom Schitt’s Creek

MILANO – Niente tappeto rosso e parata di star. Gli Emmy Awards 2020 quest’anno, causa Coronavirus, si sono svolti in maniera decisamente differente rispetto agli anni passati. Un’edizione, la numero 72, a suo modo storica proprio per le sue modalità che ha visto Jimmy Kimmel in veste di presentatore dallo Staples Center di Los Angeles e i nominati partecipare, in diretta streaming, da casa. Tra le serie più nominate (e premiate) Watchmen, Succession e Ozark, ma la vera sorpresa degli Emmy Awards 2020 è il trionfo di Schitt’s Creek, la sitcom canadese creata da Dan e Eugene Levyche si è portata a casa 9 statuette.
