Il film diretto da Marielle Heller, racconta la storia attorno al rapporto d’amicizia che Rogers aveva con Tom Judon – giornalista di Esquire, il quale gli dedicò un articolo nel 1998 – interpretato nel film da Matthew Rhys. A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood uscirà nelle sale statunitensi il 22 novembre. Nel cast anche Enrico Colantoni, Chris Cooper, Wendy Makkena e Susan Kelechi Watson.
